Adapted Programs
Sponsored by the Maurice Pollack Foundation.
Successful rehabilitation comes from exercising the body and mind. To accomplish that, the Cummings Centre Adapted Clinic provides a multitude of opportunities. Specific programs are creatively designed for post-stroke individuals, people who have Aphasia, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, or orthopedic needs, and have other mobility issues, and focus on the training principles of neuroplasticity: repetition, intensity, and focus.
Programs are available online as well as in person at our main campus and various off-site locations. In-centre equipment includes walking bars, Nu-Steps, and rehab treadmills.
