Join our Rock ‘n Soul Choir. Perform hit songs from the 60’s and 70’s under professional musical direction. Learn to sing melodies and harmonies that made rock ‘n roll history. No experience required but energy and enthusiasm definitely are!
Clarinetist Suzu Enns currently resides in Montreal, Canada, where she is a freelance performer, conductor, teacher, researcher, and music librarian. She is a specialist clarinet instructor at École FACE, and Musical Director of the Rock ’n Soul Choir at the Cummings Centre for Seniors. Dr. Enns holds degrees from Brandon University (B.Mus.), University of Ottawa (M.Mus.), and McGill University (D.Mus.) where she developed self-sufficient performance and pedagogical practices for the electronic-acoustic clarinetist. She is a proud recipient of the Governor General’s Silver Medal.
Dr. Edward Enman holds degrees from l’Université de Montréal (DMus), University of Ottawa (MMus), and Acadia University (BM). He has performed as a soloist across the country and has collaborated in a wide array of music projects with ensembles ranging from choral theatre to opera and chamber music and beyond. His award-winning compositions have been performed nation-wide and have been enthusiastically received. Edward is currently active as a pianist, director, teacher, and composer in Montréal.
