DRUM, DANCE AND SING FOR PARKINSON'S DISEASE

This class combines rhythmical drumming and movement, postural exercises and singing to improve voice projection in participants' who live with Parkinson's disease.
Maryse Loiselle was introduced to the Wellness Centre in January 2015. She is instrumental in putting together an in-home training program, along with booklet and DVD, for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Maryse is an accomplished ballroom dancer and is putting forth her skills in teaching people with reduced mobility the many benefits of dance.
