Having good posture is more than looking good. It helps you to develop strength, flexibility and balance in your body. These can all lead to less muscle pain and more energy throughout the day. Proper posture also reduces stress on your muscles and ligaments, which can reduce your risk of injury.
Annette Vezina is co-manager of the Wellness Centre and a fitness instructor for over 20 years. She is the designer and instructor of a unique group of programs such as Brain Training and Balance & Mobility. As an avid nature seeker, she enthusiastically leads the hiking/snowshoe & ski club.
