Tue (3 Sessions) Oct 20 - Nov 03 | 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
In 1933, Hitler ordered the closing of a small design school in the city of Dessau. Though it existed for only fourteen years, the Bauhaus School of Art and Design influenced architecture and design for most of the 20th century. These lectures will examine the style of the Bauhaus, the artists and architects who made it famous, and the cultural battle that occurred when the Bauhaus came to North America.
