Join us for this new and engaging wellness mini series. Each week we will focus on a different theme and explore the ways fitness and music work together to promote your well-being. We will cover heart health, balance and flexibility, cognitive health, strength, and more. Members will get a complete workout, followed by a therapeutic music session focusing on concrete tools you can use to boost your well-being this winter. Difei's teaching repertoire has expanded over the years to include classes for post-stroke fitness, muscular conditioning for the older adult, as well as fitness training and counselling in the gym.
Annette Vezina is co-manager of the Wellness Centre and a fitness instructor for over 20 years. She is the designer and instructor of a unique group of programs such as Brain Training and Balance & Mobility. As an avid nature seeker, she enthusiastically leads the hiking/snowshoe & ski club.
Maria is co-manager of the Wellness Centre and a fitness instuctor for over 20 years. She has designed and developed the Cummings Adapted Exercise clinic which allows participants with Parkinson's, stroke, multiple sclerosis and orthopedic issues to exercise in a safe, rehabilitative environment.
Victoria McNeill (MMus, MTA) has been working as an accredited music therapist since 2014. Victoria began her professional career providing music therapy services as part of The Cummings Centre's many memory care groups. Since that time, the services at the Cummings Centre have grown to include a Glee Club in the mental health department as well as Broadway for Parkinson’s, Supported Conversation and Sing Me Your Story, both programs for Aphasia. In addition to her music therapy work, Victoria is also an accomplished classical musician, with degrees in classical French horn performance from Memorial University and McGill University. During her time as a music therapist, Victoria has worked with individuals aged 2 to 102 and has served individuals with a wide array of abilities.

Should a participant withdraw more than 5 business days prior to the start date, one of the following will apply:
a)Credit Notes: A full credit note will be applied to be used against a future purchase at the Cummings Centre; or b)Refunds: A $10 administrative fee will be withheld, and refunds will automatically be applied against the credit card purchase. Only when payment was made by cash, cheque, or debit card will a refund be issued by form of cheque.
*Should these sessions be cancelled by the Cummings Centre, a full refund will be given.
