Adapted Gentle Chair Yoga is an approach to yoga where each muscle group is mobilized individually, allowing each posture to be comfortable and relaxing while still promoting strengthening, stretching and balance. With this method any student can safely follow the program and experience the benefits. *This exercise program is intended for a general audience and may not be suitable for everyone. At any time, if you feel discomfort, pain, dizziness, or your heart is beating abnormally, stop exercising immediately and consult a health care professional if necessary.
A Cummings Centre trainer for the past 13 years, Jodi's training in yoga and pilates have allowed her to create programs such as Balance & Posture training and adaptations such as the Chair Yoga class. Jodi is truly invested in improving the quality of life of her many class participants.
