US-CHINA RELATIONS: Past, Present, Future

This course will provide an overview of the economic, military, political and cultural dimensions of the rising United States-China geopolitical confrontation. It will examine the strategic perspectives and strategies of both countries and suggest what can be done to prevent a further escalation of the contest.
Marvin Hershorn graduated from Loyola College, Honours, BA, University of Waterloo, MA, McGill University, PHD, all coursework completed. He taught Humanities and Political Science at Dawson College for 39 years and served as a permanent part-time Political Science faculty member for 38 years at Concordia University, specializing in Politics of the Holocaust and International Security. He has taught Global courses at Cummings Centre since 1981.
