ACRYLICS - ADVANCED PAINTING STUDIO

DESCRIPTION
Focus on the material qualities of acrylic paint including mixing and application to surfaces. Emphasis will be on exploring historical and modern techniques as well as subject matter to support a personal vision.
INSTRUCTOR
SUZY LEVY
Suzy Levy was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada. She is a contemporary artist who has developed, promoted, supervised and led community based art programs for more than 15 years. Her expertise in adult education includes creating specific programs for caregivers and special needs artists. Levy completed a three year program at l'Académie d'art and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Concordia University. She has exhibited in group shows and had solo exhibits, including 'Dreams of Evangeline', at The National Historic Site of Grand Pre Museum. Currently, Levy is teaching at the Cummings Centre and does workshops around Montreal.
