INSTRUCTOR

NEWSHA HAMIDI
Newsha has studied visual arts at York University and art education at Concordia University. She specializes in oil and acrylic painting, with an emphasis on mixed media. A new frontier in her artistic journey is exploring abstract art. Recent experimentation with texture marries old and new techniques to reach a bolder and more expressive visual language. Newsha also enjoys teaching art to children and adults, helping them to discover their creative side in the process. She has participated in various group and solo exhibitions in Montreal and Washington DC.
