INSTRUCTOR

DAVID GENCHER
McGILL UNIVERSITY, B.Eng. Civil Engineering
From 1975 until retirement in 2017, I worked as an engineer. I worked in Montreal, for Dominion Bridge (including projects in James Bay and the Olympic Stadium), Jenkins Valves, and for 35 years with Laurentide Controls, as a process control specialist.
My stained Glass Journey started about 40 years ago, with taking various courses in Ville Saint Laurent, NDG, & local High Schools under committed, enthusiastic teachers.I have produced lamps, tableaus, both large and small, 3-dimensional items, and many sun catchers.
I work from patterns or create my own. Often, my woodworking skills allow me to frame the tableaus in a unique, custom way. I have been a volunteer at the Cummings Centre - Stained Glass program for several years now and took the lead as a teacher this year.- COURSE CODE: CRA-222
