TOMMY SCHNURMACHER
A child of Holocaust suvivors, Tommy Schnurmacher, was born in Budapest. The host of a highly-rated daily three-hour radio talk show for more than twenty years on CJAD, he is also a journalist and author. He spent a week with John Lennon and Yoko Ono at the Montreal Bed-In for Peace, covered the Academy Awards thirteen times and is still proud that Meryl Streep once stepped on his foot in the lobby of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Tommy is currently on a Zoom tour of North America talking about his mother, Second Generation issues and the Hungarian refugee experience.
