Meet Lynne Casgrain: Ombudsman for the MUHC

Lynne Casgrain has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1984. She practiced as a lawyer in a small Montreal firm specialising in the public law area, namely human rights, constitutional law, administrative law, immigration law and professional law. She appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada on several leading cases. She is a former president of the Quebec Writers Federation. She became the Local Complaints commissioner- Ombudsman for the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) in 2003, vice-president of the Regroupement des commissaires for more than 10 years
