Learn about the London Blitz, the Battle of Britain before following the route of the allied troops across the English Channel from Portsmouth to Normandy. Discuss the monumental operation of the D-Day landings and the allied final push across mainland Europe in 1944. Visit wartime Paris before heading through to Berlin via Bastogne in Belgium - the site of the infamous Battle Of The Bulge.

George McFall is a freelance tour director for EF/GAT and Trafalgar working generally in the British Isles, France and Germany. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland he has lived in London for twenty years. He has a degree in French and History and his particular interests are in European history and culture. He has led many World War II tours around Europe’s battlefields in France, Germany and Italy. When not working as a tour director, George is a keen amateur musician, filmmaker and writer.
