Jews and Hockey

Jews have often been referred to as the “People of the Book”, so the rough and tumble game of hockey seems like the furthest thing from possible. Authors have popularized our faith's involvement with baseball, basketball, and boxing, but the contribution and involvement of Jews in professional hockey has not received the same scrutiny.

Join educator and author Irv Osterer as he takes you on a lightning three period visual survey of Jewish hockey from the sport’s inception to the present day. And if the score is not settled in regulation, there may be overtime!
