DR. RONEN MIR
Ronen Mir is a leader in the development of science education for the public, with experience in the development of science centers in the US, Israel, Switzerland, Brazil and Ethiopia. Dr. Mir is the Founding Director of the Schwartz/Reisman Science Education Centers, Ruth and Uriel Arnon Campus for Science Education at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel.
He has served as General Director (CEO) of the Israel National Museum of Science Technology and Space, MadaTech, in Haifa, Executive Director of SciTech Hands-On Museum in Aurora, IL, USA and the Principal Investigator of the Outreach To Space and Midwest Wild Weather NSF supported seven-states collaborations, USA. Ronen represents Israel on the Global Committee of the Association of Science Technology Centers.
