Does the Cummings Centre offer in-person and online programs?
Yes, we offer in-person and online programs in Fine Arts, Crafts, Adapted Exercise, Personal Training, Continuing Education, Tour & Travel, Performing Arts & Music Appreciation, Social Clubs, Support groups, Dance classes, Workout Studio, and Boxing classes. We also offer adapted programs that are provided solely in person.
Is there parking?
Yes, we offer limited indoor valet parking on a first-come, first-served basis in the Cummings Centre garage for members and pre-registered visitors.
Monday to Thursday 8 am – 4 pm, Friday 8 am – 2 pm
If you are a Cummings Centre volunteer, call to learn about additional parking discounts.
$10 daily per car or a booklet of 10 tickets for $80
There is also street parking around the campus.

Can I purchase food on-site?

Do I have to become a member?
The Cummings Centre is a membership-based organization. An updated membership is required to access all courses and programs. Members enjoy a list of benefits.
We welcome guests. Non-members can register as a guest for designated programs and events at the non-member rate. Our program brochure will indicate two prices if a program is open to guests.
What are the membership fees?
The fee is $40 for membership valid through March 31, 2026. While the new membership year begins on April 1st, an individual can join anytime throughout the year.
What are the payment methods accepted?
Visa, Mastercard, Debit & cheques (Cheques accepted only at our Westbury location).
What is the registration policy?
All participants are required to register for programs in advance. If you decide to join a course on the day it begins, please call ahead to confirm that the course is running and there is space available.
Select programs are transferable – these are one-time events such as special events, lectures, or concerts. All registered participants must identify themselves to staff to attend the function.
If the program is virtual, you will receive all the relevant program information by email a day before the scheduled event or course.
How can I request a course refund?
Refund and Credit Note Policy:
1. Courses, events, and workshops: No refunds or credit notes given five (5) business days or less before the session’s start date.*
If a participant withdraws more than five (5) business days before the start date, one of the following will apply:
a) Credits: A full credit note can be applied to a future purchase at the Cummings Centre; or
b) Refunds: A $10 administrative fee will be withheld, and the refund will automatically be applied against the credit card purchase.
2. Class extensions: No refunds or credit notes apply.*
When payment has been made by cash, cheque, or debit card, a refund will be issued by cheque.
*If the Cummings Centre cancels sessions, a full refund will be given.
Is Financial Aid Available?
Courses may be subsidized based on certain criteria and an evaluation.

How can people with limited mobility access the Cummings Centre?
People with reduced mobility can access the Cummings Centre through the Westbury Avenue entrance. The building is wheelchair accessible, equipped with ramps, adapted washrooms, elevators and widened hallways.
DROP OFF AND PICK UP
The city of Montreal has also changed the signage outside the Cummings Centre to include 15-minute parking zones to allow for the drop-off and pick-up of Centre participants. The two 15-minute parking zones are in front of the Cummings Centre, between the Gelber Conference Centre entrance and the beginning of the Cummings ramp, right after the crosswalk and the beginning of the driveway.
HANDICAPPED SPOTS
Four handicapped parking spots have moved up to just after the Gelber Conference Centre entrance and closer to Cote St. Catherine Road.
Disabled Access
Individuals with limited mobility can access the Cummings Centre through the Westbury Avenue entrance. The building is wheelchair accessible.
