The Cummings Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Shelley Paris as President of the Cummings Centre, succeeding Gloria Steinberg, who concluded her term at the organization’s recent Annual General Meeting.
Joining Shelley will be a new slate of officers who will be serving as the Board of Directors for 2025-2027, including Rochelle Lerner and Yaffa Cohen as Vice-Presidents, Masha Sorina, Treasurer and Monica Mendel-Bensoussan, Secretary. Additional members of the Board of Directors will include Hillel Ades, Renée Charbit-Malka, Neil Creme, Andy Frankel, Lesli Green, Camille Isaacs-Morell, Daniel Salée, Romy Schnaiberg, Linda Shohet and Gail Small. Gloria Steinberg will serve as immediate Past President, Nancy Cooperberg as Past President (Ex Officio) and Annette Oliel as Past President (Ex Officio).
Shelley brings a wealth of experience, passion and vision to the role and a strong track record of leadership, commitment to community service and a deep understanding of the mission and values of the Cummings Centre. As President, she will lead the Board in its governance responsibilities, provide strategic oversight, and help guide the organization through its next phase of growth and impact.
