Volunteering Opportunities in Montreal: Why Choose Cummings?
By choosing to give your time and share your experience, you are truly giving back to your community. Our volunteers play a vital role in helping seniors of this community thrive. Some of them choose to help seniors with Parkinson’s or volunteer in our on-site Café or Boutique. Others prefer to deliver meals, greet our members & guests or join our intergenerational projects. These are just a few examples of volunteering opportunities in Montreal. Discover all our in-person opportunities to volunteer.
Volunteering Online: Many Ways to Help Remotely
If volunteering in person is not possible for you, or if you simply prefer to work remotely, that’s not an issue! Giving back to your community and helping seniors is also possible from the comfort of your own home. Learn more about our volunteering opportunities online.

“I started volunteering here four years ago. I just can’t wait to be here. Everybody is there with open arms and it’s a blast.” – Marty Cooper, volunteer in the woodshop.
“At first, we have the impression that it’s for others, but in the end, it comes back to us, it comes back to us 100 times.” – Béatrice Bousser, volunteer on planning committee of intergenerational programming.
“I am able to interact with people from all walks of life, and not only do I learn so much from them, but we learn from each other.” – Lynda Lubin, volunteer at the Boutique.
