Volunteers Make Waves. Together, we create ripples of change. The volunteer corps of over 650 strong work side by side with the professional team at Cummings sharing their time, expertise and commitment in helping others thrive at the Centre.
Mental Health Week, May 5-11 is a Canadian tradition, that aims to raise awareness about mental health and well-being, reduce stigma, and promote access to resources. The theme for 2025 is "Healing with Compassion".
This Spring, we are proud to launch a new, dynamic series of programs that focus on community, play, and wellness for LGBTQ+ folks and allies.
Intergenerational projects play a vital role in fostering connections across age groups, addressing social challenges, and enriching community life. The Cummings Centre continues to bring together younger and older generations through shared activities, creating opportunities for mutual learning, understanding, and collaboration.
January 2025, marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Jews worldwide will unite to commemorate the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
