BOXING INTERVAL TRAINING & VOCAL TRAINING FOR PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON’S
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 15 • 10 AM – 12 PM

Exercise your cardio, coordination & strength with a series of 3 minute “rounds” of brain building boxing sequences, and lower body strengthening exercises. All that you need is some space, a water bottle and a chair. If standing for too long is an issue, you can also choose to do all the exercises seated. Boxing gloves are not required!

SING LIKE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17 • 11 AM – 12 PM

Singing is a very healthy activity, both for our bodies and our minds. We can burn calories, express ourselves, release stress, improve lung capacity, boost alertness, improve mood, reminisce, and take a break from the world around us. Join us for an hour of community singing where, due to limitations of video call platforms, you can sing just for you! No experience necessary! Open to everyone!

ADAPTED EXERCISE FOR FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 18 • 1 – 1:30 PM

Do you have difficulty walking and maintaining your balance? Do you rely on a walker in your home or a wheelchair for longer distances? Then join Anne for this 30 minute functional movement class that focuses on slow and controlled weight-bearing and leg strengthening exercises. These are done seated and standing. Caregivers are encouraged to participate but not required.

* These exercise programs are intended for a general audience and may not be suitable for everyone. At any time, if you feel discomfort, pain, dizziness, or your heart is beating abnormally, stop exercising immediately and consult a health care professional if necessary.
