The Cummings Centre’s mission is to empower and enhance the quality of life of adults age 50 and over by providing dynamic and innovative programs, social services, and volunteer opportunities in a vibrant, respectful, inclusive and compassionate environment. Building on its Jewish heritage, Cummings embraces people from all ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

We offer a spectrum of social services to enhance independence and dignity.

Participants with a wide variety of needs and medical conditions can avail themselves of the services at the Cummings Centre. Whether it is to get in shape through our Wellness Centre, recovering from a recent medical condition or a progressive, chronic disorder, such as Parkinson’s disease, Aphasia, MS or stroke recovery, individuals can be referred through their doctor, movement disorder clinic, rehabilitation centre or self-referred and come in for an intake to find out which programs would best suit their particular needs.

We work in partnership with the public sector and community agencies to ensure that the best service and support is available.
