JOURNALING FOR WELLNESS WORKSHOP

A beautiful, soothing workshop which teaches: 1) What is journaling? 2) The health & wellness benefits of journaling. 3) A personal self-discovery journey. 4) Documenting your history. 5) Let’s set-up your journal – the participants will need to have a new journal present. 6) Writing & spiritual time with a writer’s meditation. 7) Sharing the experience.

MAHJONG FOR BEGINNERS

MahJong is quickly becoming the most popular tile game in Montreal. It is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance. It is fun and social. There are many benefits to learning a game like MahJongg, as it has been proven to help with short term memory, attention, and logical thinking. In the 6 sessions you will learn to identify the tiles, how they go together, how to read your MahJongg card and decide what MahJongg you will build for the win.

DOODLING WORKSHOP

This teacher led doodling workshop is a creative and interactive session where participants engage in spontaneous and free-form drawing, known as doodling. This is a structured form of doodling focusing on embracing the flow of imagination, encouraging participants to express themselves through simple, often repetitive, and unconstrained drawings.  Doodling is often associated with mindfulness, relaxation and stress relief.  Join us for a soothing evening of art, conversation and learning.

LEARN TO DRAW WORKSHOP

In this intro to drawing workshop, participants will learn to think like an artist. Using demonstrations, individual worksheets, group discussions, and guided, step by step instructions, participants will walk away with a beginner’s understanding of how to view an object and break it down into simple shapes. This will build a sketching foundation.
