Our Volunteer Appreciation event “Cummings Together” was held on August 29, 2022 with 90 people in attendance, both virtually and in-person in the Peace Garden. For many , this was the first time seeing each other in person after speaking weekly through Care Calls over the past 2 and ½ years.
Steven Cowan, renown classical guitarist, provided the musical entertainment. Light refreshments were served and gift bags handed out.
Our deep gratitude goes to volunteers Roz Levy, Sue Sassoon, Shirlee Nadler, Rhona Spanier, Helena Halperin and their staff Joy Lawee of the Volunteer Appreciation Summer Gala planning committee, for organizing this special event for us all!
