The Tenaquip Foundation was founded in November of 2006 to honour the memory and wishes of TENAQUIP Limited founder, Ken Reed. The Foundation works with over 90 charitable organizations each year to provide relief primarily in the areas of medical research, homelessness, children’s welfare and other humanitarian causes.

“The Tenaquip Foundation has always believed in the fundamental idea of making people’s lives better. If through our support we can help just one person a day, put a smile on one face that before was not smiling, then we are helping. Working with seniors is particularly important as they are often the forgotten. This is why the Cummings Jewish Center for Seniors is such a good fit for us. The time, the love and the care that the center offers is unparalleled.”

Michael Fitzgerald, Executive Director, The Tenaquip foundation.

The Cummings Centre and our extended community is very fortunate to have supporters like The Tenaquip Foundation, and their recent donation of $10,000 to the Cummings Centre’s adapted programs is sure to have a lasting and positive impact on those we serve. We are so grateful for their support.

The Reed family is very proud of The Tenaquip Foundation and the legacy their father has left. His children and wife derive tremendous joy form being able to positively impact the lives of so many.

The Cummings Centre’s mission is to empower and enhance the quality of life of adults age 50 and over by providing dynamic and innovative programs, social services, and volunteer opportunities in a vibrant, respectful, inclusive and compassionate environment.
